Stalking / Aggravated Stalking

Stalking or harassment is when a person acts in a way intended to annoy, threaten, provoke or cause another person emotional distress. These crimes can be committed through verbal or non-verbal means and by invading someone’s space or property without that person’s consent. The penalties for these types of cases may include jail time or fines, or both. Additionally, a victim can seek a civil injunction, which is a Stay Away Order to prevent the offender from further harassment. A Stay Away Order can be temporary or permanent, so if you have been charged with Stalking or Harassment, call the Prieto Law Firm so he can fight for you and protect your future.
